The Cost of sancifivication 거룩의 대가

when we pray, asking God to sanctify us, are we prepared to measure up to what that really means? 

We take the word sanctification much too lightly. Are we prepared to pay the cost of sanctification? 

The cost will be a deep restriction of all our earthly concerns, and an extensive cultivation of all our godly concerns. Sanctification means to be intensely focused on God's point of view . It means to secure and to keep all the strength of our body, soul and spirit for God's purpose alone. Are we really prepared for God to perform in us everything for which He separated us? And after He has done His work, are we then prepared to separate ourselves to God's just as Jesus did? "For their sakes I sanctify Myself . . ."(John 17:19). The reason some of us have not entered into the experience of sanctification is that we have not realized the meaning of sanctification from God's perspective. Sancrification means being made one with Jesus so that the nature that controlled Him will control us. Are we really prepared for what that will cost? It will cost absolutely everything in us which is not of God.

 

Are we prepared to be caught up into the full meaning of Paul's prayer in this verse? Are we prepared to say, "Lord, make me, a sinner saved by grace, as holy as You can?" Jesus prayed that we might be one with Him, just as He is one with the Father (see John 17:21-23). The resounding evidence of the Holy Spirit in a person's life is the unmistakable family likeness to Jesus Christ, and the freedom from everything which is not like Him. Are we prepared to set our selves apart for the Holy Spirit's work in us? 

 

 

우리가 하나님께 거룩하게 해달라고 기도할 때에, 우리는 그것이 진정으로 의미하는 것을 측정할 준비가 되어 있는가 ?

우리는 신성화라는 단어를 너무 가볍게 생각한다. 우리는 성역화 비용을 지불할 준비가 되어 있는가?

그 대가는 우리의 모든 세속적인 관심사에 대한 깊은 제한이 될 것이고, 우리의 모든 경건한 관심사에 대한 광범위한 재배가 될 것이다. 성역화는 하나님의 관점에 집중하는 것을 의미합니다. 하나님의 목적만을 위해 우리 몸과 영혼과 영의 모든 힘을 확보하고 지키라는 뜻입니다. 우리는 정말로 하나님께서 우리를 갈라놓으신 모든 것을 우리 안에서 행하실 준비가 되어 있나요? 그리고 그가 그의 일을 마친 후에, 우리는 예수님이 하신 것처럼 하나님의 것으로 우리 자신을 분리할 준비가 되었는가? "그들을 위하여 내가 나를 거룩하게 하노라."(요 17:19). 우리 중 일부가 성역 경험에 들어가지 못한 것은 하나님의 관점에서 성역의 의미를 깨닫지 못했기 때문입니다. 산시피케이션은 예수님을 지배했던 자연이 우리를 지배하도록 예수님과 하나가 되는 것을 의미합니다. 우리는 정말 그것이 얼마가 될지에 대해 준비가 되어 있나요? 신이 아닌 우리 안의 모든 것이 희생될 것이다.

우리는 이 구절에서 바울의 기도의 완전한 의미에 휘말릴 준비가 되어 있는가? 우리는 `주님, 은혜로 구원받은 죄인 나를 가능한 한 거룩하게 하소서' 하고 말할 준비가 되어 있습니까 예수님은 우리가 아버지와 하나이듯이 하나님과 하나가 되기를 기도하셨습니다(요 17:21-23 참조). 한 사람의 삶에서 성령이 보여주는 확실한 증거는 예수 그리스도를 닮은 가족과 그와 같지 않은 모든 것으로부터의 자유이다. 우리는 성령께서 우리 안에서 행하신 일을 위해 우리를 따로 떼어 놓을 준비가 되어 있습니까?
