주님은 나의 최고봉 생각은 그만하고 이제 길을 걸으라 Don't think now, take the road

The wind was actually boisterous, the waves were actually high, but Peter did not see them at first. He did not reckon with them, he simply recognised his Lord and stepped out in recognition of Him, and walked on the water. Then he began to reckon with the actual things, and down he went instantly. Why could not our Lord have enabled him to walk at the bottom of the waves as well as on the top of them? Neither could be done saving by recognition of the Lord Jesus.

 

We step right out on God over some things, then self-consideration enters in and down we go. If you are recgnising your Lord you have no business with where He engineers your circumstances. The actual things are, but immediately you look at them you are overwhelmed, you cannot recognise Jesus, and the rebuke comes: "Wherefore didst thou doubt?" Let actual circumstances be what they may, keep recognising Jesus, maintain ccomplete reliance on Him.

 

If you debate for second when God has spoken, it is all up. New begin to say - "Well, I wonder if He did speak?" Be reckless immediately, fling it all out on Him. You do not know when His voice will come, but

whenever the realisation of God comes in the faintest way imaginable,

recklessly abandon.

It is only by abandon that you recognise Him, You will only realise His voice more clearly by recklessness.

 

 

베드로가 배에서 내려 물 위로 걸어가서 예수께로 가되

바람을 보고 무서워 빠져 가는지라

바람은 거칠고 무서웠고 풍랑은 높았지만 베드로는 그것들을 처음엔 보지 않았다. 그는 그것들을 염두에 두지 않았고 단순히 예수님만 바라보고 앞으로 나아갔고 물 위를 걸었다. 그리고 현실을 인식하고 곧바로 물에 빠졌다. 예수님께서는 왜 그에게 물과 풍랑 위를 걸을 수 있는 능력을 주시지 않았을까? 예수님을 인식하지 않는다면 모두 불가능하다.

 

우리는 어떤 문제가 생기면 하나님께 곧장 나아가지만 자신에 관한 상황을 생각하며 침몰한다. 만약 당신이 주님을 인식하고 있다면 그가 이끄시는 상황으로 아무런 관계없이 나아가게 된다. 실제 상황은 늘 존재하고 당신이 그것들을 응시하면 압도당하고 결국 예수님을 인식하지 못하게 된다. 그러면 주님께서 꾸짖으신다; "왜 의심하였느냐!" 우리가 처한 실제 상황 가운데서 예수님을 계속 인식하며 온전하게 주만 의지하자.

 

만약 주께서 말씀하실 때 잠시라도 의심한다면 모든 것은 끝장이다.

절대 이렇게 말하자마자 -" 음... 진짜 하나님의 음성일까..?" 앞뒤를 가리지 말고 즉각 나아가자, 주님께 모든 것을 던지자. 우리는 언제 주님의 음성을 듣게 될지 모른다. 그러나 아무리 미세한 음성이라도 주님의 음성으로 깨달아진다면, 주저 없이 주께 던지자.

이렇게

모든 것을 믿고 완전히 주께 맡기는 것만이

주님을 인정하는 것이다.

 

주저 없이 주께 맡길 때 당신은 주의 음성을 더욱 분명하게 깨닫게 될 것이다.
