Helpful or heartless toward others? 다른 사람을 향한 애정인가 냉정인가 주님은 나의 최고봉 4월 1일

 

 

It is Christ . . . who also makes intercession for us. . .,

the Spirit . . . makes intercession for the saints . . .

Romans 8:34,26

 

Do we need any more arguments than these to become intercessors - that Chrsit "always lives to make intercession" (Hebrews 7:25), and that the Holy Spirit "makes intercession for the saints"? Are we living in such a relationship with others that we do the work of intercession as a result of being the children of God who are taught by His Spirit? We should take a look at our current circumstances. Do crises which affect us or others in our home, business, country, or elsewhere, seem to be crushing in on us? Are we being pushed out of the presence of God and left with no time for whorship? If so, we must put a stop to such distractions and get into such a living relationship with God that our relationship with others is maintained through the work of intercession, where God works His miracles.

 

Beware of getting ahead of God by your very desire to do His will. We run ahead of Him in a thousand and one activies, becoming so burdened with people and problems that we don't worship God, and we fail to intercede.

If a burden and its resulting pressure come upon us while we are not in an attitude of worship, it will only produce a hardness toward God and despair in our own souls. God continually introduces us to people in whom we have no interest, and unless we are worshiping God the natural tendency is to be heartless toward them. We give them a quick verse of Scriputre, like jabbing them with a spear, or leave them with a hrried, uncaring word of counsel before we go. A heartless Christian must be a terrible grief to our Lord.

 

Are our lives in the proper place

so that

we may participate in the intercession of our Lord and the Holy Spirit?

중보기도자가 되어야 할 필요에 대해 이보다 더 확실하게 보여주는 구절이 있을까?

예수님께서 우리를 위해 중보 기도하시고, 성령께서 성도를 위해 중보 기도하신다.

당신은 성령님께 교육을 받은 하나님의 자녀로서 동료들을 위해 중보기도를 드리는 관계 속에서 살고 있는가? 지금 우리 상황 속에서부터 중보 사역을 시작해야 한다.

가정, 국가, 우리와 다른 사람들에게 영향을 미치는 현재의 위기 상황에 짓눌리고 있는가? 이런한 상황들이 우리를 주님과의 관계에서 멀어지게 하고 그분을 경배할 시간이 없게 만든다면 잠깐 멈추고 하나님과 먼저 살아있는 관계를 맺어야 한다.

그래야만 우리가 다른 사람을 위해 중보 기도할 수 있는 상태에 이르게 되고, 그 기도를 통해 하나님께서 기적을 행하신다.

 

주님의 뜻을 이루고 싶은 간절한 소망 때문에 주님보다 앞서는 것을 주의해야 한다.

우리는 수천수만의 행사 가운데 주님보다 앞서는 경향이 있다. 결국 사람들과 어려운 일들에 치여 주님을 경배하지 않게 되고 중보 기도도 하지 못하게 된다.

만약 여러 짐들과 압박에 눌려 하나님을 경배하지 못하게 된다면 서서히 우리 마음은 하나님을 향해 강퍅해지고 우리 영혼은 좌절될 것이다.

하나님께서는 계속 우리를 우리가 마음에 들어 하지 않는 사람들에게로 인도하신다.

이때 우리 마음이 하나님을 경배하는 상태가 아니라면 우리가 그들에게 행하는 가장 자연스러운 행위는 그들을 차갑게 대하는 것이다. 한두 마디 뼈아픈 성경 구절을 던져주거나 틀에 박힌 신앙 상담을 하고 차갑게 떠나버린다.

따스함이 없는 그리스도인은

분명 주님께 커다란 아픔일 것이다.

중보하시는 주님 및 성령의 마음에 일치되어 있는가?
